When we first met with the clients, they were looking to create a larger, more sociable kitchen and family space, as the ground floor was previously divided into a number of smaller, enclosed rooms.
We introduced them to a local architect we have worked closely with for many years, who developed a fantastic open-plan design, combining the kitchen, dining, and living areas into one cohesive space. This new layout not only improves flow and functionality but also brings in far more natural light.
The space opens out onto a beautifully crafted oak-framed covered area, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and outdoors, and providing the perfect setting for both everyday living and entertaining.
